i thought this was a vary good idea. i think you got the concept of the prompt. i like the dramatization with the cut out car. the sound bites added great comic relief and made the story more legitimate. editing can use some work but otherwise i really like it!

I love the 3d reenactment, it's something very unique! And the sound clips worked very well with it.

I liked the news theme and the use of the news music. I think that the overall concept was a really interesting one. As for the captions and the still pictures, I thought that maybe the camera should have stayed still and captured the picture with the captions instead of moving in a "reading" motion. Also in the cartoon, I think it would have been more helpful to use still captures as that would have allowed the audience to see the continuity of the piece.

this must have taken a lot of work. i think that it was a great idea and i loved that all three versions actually worked together in one story.
great job

This was a great approach to the assignment. Putting the pictures into an actual newspaper made it appear to be more realistic or relevant. Going from newscaster straight to the silent viewing of the newspaper and comic is a bit awkward. Maybe adding some commentary to that party as well could work. Overall great idea!

This was a very creative way to approach the assignment. The set up of a new report gave it some structure, and allowed you to use many mediums. It is also an easier way to post all three mediums. I had trouble posting my three narratives because some were drawings, some were still pictures, and one was a movie, all in separate files, which didn't post well on the blog. Having them all in the movie made it easy to watch, as well keeping the movie interesting with the introduction of different mediums.
